New Patriarch Elected!
Archbishop Mor Cyril Karim, our bishop of the Eastern US Archdiocese of the Syriac Orthodox Church, has been elected as Patriarch of the Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch and all the East, becoming the 123rd in Succession to Apostle Peter.
We were blessed by his visit to our little mission chapel in Madison. He was gracious, loving and kind. We were honored to have the Patriarch-elect give us words of wisdom in his sermon and talks when he was in Madison.
May God bless and keep him always! May God grant him many years! Axios! Axios! Axios!
